We will be arriving/staying in Rome on the 21st to do some touring. The day of the cruise we will be heading to the port and was wondering if anyone wanted to share a ride to reduce costs?
why don't you take the public transportation, then? We also have a sightseeing trip before and will do so because there is lots of time on sep 22nd
Have a look at : http://traintorome.maxonthenet.altervista.org/?lang=eng
If you hesitate/not sure we could meet and take the same train or we figure out a shuttle for us at the hotels. But public transportation allows us to be more flexible if we like to visit something on sunday.
HI. We arrive on the 19th, staying at the Michaelangelo. We are currently looking for transportation as well if you haven't found anyone to share with. We'd be happy to share. Are you familiar with the types available?
We're staying at the Michaelangelo too. There's a train station around six minutes away (San Pietro) and we plan on taking the train to the port on 22nd. Check out trenitalia website - you can even buy tickets online in advance.
Hi Judy... I think it's a six minute walk, not drive, but if we're loaded up with bags a taxi might be a good idea. I'm a bit nervous about missing the boat (never been on a cruise before!) so we're setting off earlier than we probably need to...
I would be interested in sharing a ride to the port. I am staying by the vatican, but could take a taxi to your hotel that day. please email me at angel.ingr@gmail.com if interested. I will have an international data plan
